New Golfer: May or may not have played before; May or may not have had formal lessons; Is uneasy with experienced golfers

Advanced Beginner: Plays regularly, but weekly at most; Practices rarely; Sometimes picks up ball; Scores 55-60+ regularly for 9 holes

Intermediate: Plays regularly, 1-2 times a week; Practices occasionally; Still uncomfortable in competition; Scores 50-55 regularly for 9 holes

Advanced Intermediate: Plays regularly, 1-2 times a week; Practices fairly often; Plays comfortable in competition; Scores 42-50 regularly for 9 holes
