Who is a new golfer?
A new golfer may or may not have played before; May or may not have had formal lessons; Is uneasy with experienced golfers.
Who is an advanced beginner?
Plays regularly, but weekly at most; Practices rarely; sometimes picks up ball; Scores 55 - 60+ regularly for 9 holes.

Who is intermediate?
A intermediate plays regularly, 1-2 times a week; Practices occasionally; Still uncomfortable in competition; Scores 50 - 55 regularly for 9 holes.

Who is an advanced intermediate?
An advanced intermediate plays regularly, 1-2 times a week; Practices fairly often; Plays comfortable in competition; Scores 42 - 50 regularly for 9 holes.

Do I have to be working to join a league?
No, all women are welcome to join.

Do I need clubs for the 1st night?
Yes. However, if you don't own your own set of clubs, rentals are available at all golf courses.

Do I have to have golf shoes?
No. Soft spiked golf shoes are preferred, but running shoes are acceptable.

Will I play with someone different every week?
It's up to you! You can either sign up in a different foursome each week, or play with the same group of friends you joined with.

Will I be put in a foursome if I join on my own?
Yes, we will tee you off with 3 other members. Then, you can sign up for your tee-off time for the following week.

What is the Golf-a-round Leagues format?
Golf-a-round Leagues features 9 holes of ready golf each week, followed by dinner and refreshments
with your fellow members. Your Captain will provide information and
announcements, and you'll have the opportunity to network with other
league members on the courses and at our social events.

Can I golf with my friends?
Of course - the more the merrier, although we do encourage you to golf in a different foursome each week!

If I'm absent one week, how do I get a tee-off time?
Just contact the pro shop for your league, and ask them to slot you into an available tee time. They'll have the tee-off sheet 48 hours prior to your league
night, and when you join, you'll be supplied with the names and
telephone numbers of the pro shop and your Captains.

What do I do if I have to cancel a tee-off time?
Contact the pro shop for your league and ask them to take you off the tee-off sheet. This is part of golf etiquette.
